Today's girls are excelling in so many areas of their lives.
- We outnumber boys in college and graduate school enrollments.
- We generally outperform boys in high school .
- We are soaring into the professional world.
However. . . too many smart, talented, capable pre-teen and teenage girls are struggling emotionally and socially.
Throughout my counseling career, I have seen an alarming trend. Girls lack confidence in themselves.That's why I have chosen to specialize in helping today's girls reclaim their power and build their confidence to reach their goals and attain their dreams.
For many of us, self-confidence and poise are learned skills. My classes and small groups provide a safe, caring environment in which pre-teen and teenage girls can learn and develop the skills that will help them navigate "girl world" with ease and succeed at school, at home, and in their social lives.
Together, we do role playing, have open discussions and practice stepping out of our comfort zones to develop self-assurance and self-confidence. Together, we move past our fears, heal the pain that is holding us back, embrace the true self within, and step into our power so we can live life with greater joy and satisfaction.
