Middle school and high school girls can learn and practice important “girl world skills” at the next Girls Stand Strong class in Warrenton, Virginia.
Michelle Kelley, a licensed counselor specializing in working with pre-teen and teenage girls, will lead class discussion and guide participants in effective strategies for:
- Setting boundaries with toxic friends
- Clearly communicating feelings and needs
- Standing up for yourself
- Responsible technology use
- Learning how to understand and manage your emotional world
- and other social skills and topics of interest to class participants.
